Responsibilities:

• Automate solutions, focusing on continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Own management of applications and services, ensuring operational requirements (reliability, availability, scalability, performance, capacity etc.) are met and improved operationally.
• Ensure monitoring coverage for applications and proactively monitor and manage the health of applications/systems; responsible and accountable for driving the root cause and ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion.
• Perform complex technical work to accomplish tasks and projects within a defined time frame.
• Install, upgrade, configure, repair and monitor high-availability 24/7 application service, third-party appliances, and applications.
• Perform troubleshooting of applications and infrastructure issues.

Experience:

• Must have been in a current DevOps role.
• 2+ years of experience in DevOps role
• Scripting experience with Python, Shell scripting, etc.
• Hands-on experience and/or knowledge of working with:
• Build management tools such as Gradle, Maven, Gulp
• Source code management frameworks with GIT, HG 
• Automated deployment/ Continuous Integration/ Release Engineering tools like TeamCity, Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, etc.
• Configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Web Servers with Apache, Tomcat, Nginx
• Artifact repository manager Artifactory or SonaType Nexus
• Commercial or open source monitoring systems like Splunk, Nagios, Cacti, etc.
• Cloud, Virtualization platforms and Container technologies such as AWS, Azure, Vmware, XenSource, Docker, Rocket etc.

Working experience in cluster management/orchestration software like Mesos and Aurora is a plus
Excellent communication, presentation and collaborative problem-solving skills
B. S. Computer Science or equivalent.
